Section Schedule ARTS 105 Foundation Studio Foundation Studio teaches students how to solve art and design problems. It introduces critical strategies common to major areas of study offered within the departments of Art and Art History and Design, but is also applicable to many other fields in the creative sphere. Students are exposed to a diversity of materials and methods, and are encouraged to develop their own unique solutions through experimentation and collaboration. Assuming the role of problem-solver, students work on increasingly complex projects that culminate in a formalized demonstration of the ability to forge their own creative solutions.
